What is mindfulness?

Life is happening right here right now, in this very moment. In fact only in this moment. Through mindfulness we learn to pay attention to the moment in a non-judgmental way. This is done with the purpose of acknowledging present moment reality as it is found - whether it is pleasant or unpleasant - as the first step towards transforming that reality and one's relationship to it.
